Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se lokalitetima srednjovjekovnog hrvatskog Solina, izravnog nasljednika Salone, glavnoga grada rimske provincije Dalmacije i potom sjedišta crkvene metropolije. Istraženi lokaliteti koji čine starohrvatski Solin su: crkva sv. Marije i Stjepana (Gospin Otok,) u kojoj je pronađen sarkofag kraljice Jelene, crkva sv. Petra i Mojsija (Šuplja crkva), podignuta na temeljima kasnoantičke bazilike i crkva u Gradini, kasnosrednjovjekovnom obrambenom sklopu. Sjeverno od grada nalazi se lokalitet Rižinice na kojem su pronađeni ostaci benediktinskog samostana što ga je sredinom 9. stoljeća dao podići hrvatski knez Trpimir.
Abstract (english)
The final paper deals with medieval Croatian city of Solin which is the direct successor of Salona, the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and the seat of the ecclesiastical metropolis. Investigated sites which are included in the old Croatin Solin are: the church of holy Marija and Stjepan (Gospa's Island) in which there is a replica of Queen Jelena's sarcophagus, church of holy Peter and Mojsije (Hollow church), which was built on the foundations of the late antique basilica and Gradina, which is late medieval defensive complex. North of the city there is locality called Rižinice, where are gound remains of the benedicrine monastery which was built by Croatian prince trpimir.
