Abstract
This paper will look at the role of sex as a mediator between Nature and Culture, terms introduced by Camille Paglia. They will be further explored by Despentes in King Kong Theory. The main thesis is that Cersei as a mediator has a firm grasp on both sides of sex, which she uses to her own advantage. The papir will also focus on the evolution of mediation by adopting the xenofeminist ideas of alienation and applying it to both Davos and Cersei as examples of people who are offered more opportunities which would improve their lives to new levels.
Abstract (english)
Ovaj će rad promatrati ulogu seksa kao posrednika između Prirode i Kulture, pojmova koje je uvela Camille Paglia. Detaljnije će ih obraditi Despentes u svojoj King Kong Theory. Glavni je argument kako Cersei kao posrednik čvrsto shvaća obje strane seksa, primijenjujući to u svoju korist. Rad će se također usredotočiti na evoluciju medijacije prisvajajući ksenofeminističke ideje otuđivanja i primijenjujući ih na Davosa i Cersei kao primjere ljudi kojima je pruženo više mogućnosti koje mogu podignuti njihove živote na novu razinu.
