Abstract
Glavni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati zastupljenost tema i sadržaja iz područja zdravlja, sigurnosti i zaštite okoliša u časopisima za djecu i mlade. Analizirana su tri izdanja časopisa Smib, Radost, Modra lasta i Ok! iz 2017. godine. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se teme zdravlja, sigurnosti i zaštite okoliša promoviraju na različite načine uvažavajući prvenstveno dob odnosno interese publike kojoj je časopis namijenjen te namjenu časopisa. Uočeno je da se analizirani časopisi razlikuju s obzirom na zastupljenost tema iz područja zdravlja, sigurnosti i zaštite okoliša, stil obraćanja čitateljima i kvalitetu prezentiranja određenih tema. Uočeno je da su u časopisima, s obzirom na teme koje su analizirane, najčešće zastupljene teme iz područja zdravlja, zaštita okoliša zastupljena je ponajviše u Modroj lasti, u nešto manjoj mjeri u Smibu i Radosti, a u časopisu Ok! uopće nije zastupljena. Ono što odlikuje sve analizirane časopise je izrazito niska zastupljenost tema iz područja sigurnosti.
Abstract (english)
The main objective of this research is to examine the prevalence of themes and contents of health, security and enviromental protection in magazines for children and youth. Three editions of magazines Smib, Radost, Modra lasta and Ok! published in year 2017 were analyzed. The results of investigation show that themes of health, security and enviromental protection are promoted in different ways considering primarly age and interests of aimed readers and pourpose of the magazine. Analyzed magazines differ in the prevalence of themes of health, security and enviromental protection, and also in style of approaching to the reader and quality of presenting of each theme. Considering analyzed themes, health is the theme which is most promoted. Enviromental protection is most promoted in Modra lasta, far less promoted in Smib and Radost, and it is not promoted in Ok! at all. The theme of security has extremely low rate of promotion in all analyzed magazines.
