Abstract
Leonardo Sciascia era uno scrittore siciliano impegnato socialmente e politicamente. I temi fondamentali che riguardano la sua poetica sono: la mafia siciliana, i fenomeni che riguardano la Sicilia come quelli di sicilianità, sicilitudine, l’omertà, l’importanza della storia, l’influenza d’illuminismo e di neorealismo. Tra gli scrittori più importanti che hanno ispirato Sciascia era Luigi Pirandello. Sciascia scriveva i romanzi gialli, le raccolte di racconti, i saggi e i testi teatrali. In questa tesina viene analizzato il suo romanzo breve, Una storia semplice, attraverso il quale viene spiegata la sua poetica e le caratteristiche principali delle sue opere.
Abstract (english)
Leonardo Sciascia was a Sicilian writer who was socially and politically engaged. The fundamental themes concerning his poetics are: the Sicilian mafia, the phenomena which concern Sicily, such as sicilianità, sicilitudine and omertà, the importance of history and the influence of the Enlightenment and the Neorealism. Among the most important writers who inspired Sciascia was Luigi Pirandello. Sciascia wrote the crime novels, collections of short stories, essays and theatrical plays. In this thesis is analyzed his short novel, Una storia semplice, through which are explained his poetics and the main characteristics of his works.
