Abstract
Škotski književnik za djecu James Matthew Barrie i švedska književnica za djecu Astrid Lindgren donijeli su novu vrstu priče, fantastičnu priču. Potaknuti Lewisom Carrollom i njegovom Alisom u Zemlji Čudesa i oni su se okušali u tom smjeru i napisali svoja djela Petar Pan i Pipi Duga Čarapa zbog kojih su danas najprepoznatljiviji. Djela su im donijela veliku slavu među djecom, a i među odraslima. Priča o dječaku koji ne želi odrasti i o djevojčici koja se protivi autoritetu učinila su djetinjstvo dragocjenim i posebnim razdobljem. Njihove su priče originalne i jedinstvene jer postoji samo jedna Pipi Duga Čarapa i jedan Petar Pan, a sve ostalo su ne baš uspješni pokušaji kada se usporede s originalnom verzijom. Da bi fantastična priča bila uspješna, mora biti emocionalno uvjerljiva i iskrena, a da bi bila iskrena, mora biti odsjaj osobnog duha i temperamenta, a upravo su takva oba djela. Glavne junake priče predstavljaju djeca i njihova igra i mašta, a to je nešto što svako dijete ima u sebi. Ovaj rad prikazuje književno stvaralaštvo Jamesa Matthewa Barrija i Astrid Lindgren, fantastične elemente u pričama te samo djetinjstvo i odrastanje kroz oba djela.
Abstract (english)
James Matthew Barrie, a Scottish writer for children and Astrid Lindgren, Swedish writer for children, have brought a new kind of story, a fantastic story. Encouraged by Lewis Carroll and his Alice in Wonderland, they went into that direction and wrote their works of Peter Pan and Pippi Longstocking for which they are most recognizable today. Their work brought great fame to them both in children and adults alike. It's a story of a boy who does not want to grow up and of a girl who opposes authority have made childhood a precious and special period. Their stories are original and unique because there is only one Pippi Longstocking and only one Peter Pan and all other attempts are just shallow attempts in comparison to the original version. For a fantastic story to be successful, it has to be emotionally convincing and honest and to be honest, it must be a reflection of personal spirit and temperament, and these are both works of this kind. The main heroes of the story are children and their play and imagination, and that is something every child has in themselves. This work illustrates the literary work of James Matthew Barrie and Astrid Lindgren, fantastic story elements, childhood and growing up themselves through both works.
