Abstract
Suvremeni pristupi koji su usmjereni na proučavanje razvoja djeteta naglašavaju važnost poticajnog okruženja za njegov cjeloviti napredak. Pedagoški pripremljena i oblikovana sredina snažno djeluje na sva područja djetetova razvoja, a pri njezinu oblikovanju odgojitelji imaju značajnu ulogu. Djeci je važno osigurati mogućnost istraživanja svoje okoline i interakciju s istom kako bi preuzeli aktivnu ulogu u procesu stjecanja i konstruiranja novih znanja. Ono najbolje uči izravnim iskustvom sudjelovanja u aktivnostima u okruženju koje ga potiče na razmišljanje i postavljanje pitanja potaknutim njegovim interesima i potrebama. U spomenutom procesu odgojitelji se smatraju kao ključne osobe koje prate, omogućuju i usmjeravaju različite aktivnosti djece te im osiguravaju kontinuitet iskustva koja doprinose njihovu učenju i razvoju. Sukladno tomu, cilj ovog rada jest istaknuti važnost okruženja u dječjem vrtiću koje bi trebalo biti primjereno djetetovim interesima kao i slijediti njegove potrebe, ali istovremeno razvijati nove interese i znanja te poticati razvoj samopouzdanja.
Abstract (english)
Modern approaches that are orientated on child’s improvement emphasize importance of positive and prosperous surroundings as an great factor for appropriate child’s development. Pedagogicaly formed environment could have great impact on every aspect of child’s development and that´s why pedagogues play an important role in achieving it. The most crucial aspect for the children is possibility to explore and communicate with their surroundings so they could gain new knowledge. The best way to ensure full observation is their active roll in experiencing new activities and asking questions about their needs and interests. In process of learning and improvement pedagogues observe and implement different types of strategies which brings overall progress. Therefore, the main goal of this work was to point out importance of suitable surroundings in kindergarten which needs to be positive and affirmative so every child could develop his own interests and gain selfconfidence.
