Abstract
U ovome radu prikazan je odnos filozofije i književnosti, odnosno mišljenja i romana Alberta Camusa. Istraživanje pokazuje da je Camus, koji je dobio Nobelovu nagradu za književnost 1957., ujedno i filozof. Filozofija apsurda, pobune i sredozemna misao izravno su utjecale na njegove romane. Analiza najpoznatijeg Camusovog romana Stranac pomoću njegova filozofskog objašnjenja Mita o Sizifu pokazuje da je Stranac apsurdan roman čiji je protagonist apsurdni čovjek. Camusov Stranac nastao je prema njegovom ranom romanu Sretna smrt koji je vrijedna zabilješka začetaka njegove misli koja će se razviti u Pobunjenome čovjeku i zadobiti mjeru. Mersault kao (negativni) pobunjenik još ne poznaje pravu pobunu dok Meursault spoznaje ravnotežu života koju je poremetio. Ovim radom Camusa se određuje kao književnika-filozofa i filozofa-književnika čija je književnost nerazdvojiva od njegove filozofije. Također, želi se doprinijeti revitalizaciji njegove misli.
Abstract (english)
The thesis presents the relation between Albert Camus’s philosophy and literature, that is thinking and novel. The research shows that Camus, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957, is also a philosopher. His novels are directly influenced by his philosophy of Absurd, Rebellion and his Mediterranean thought. Camus’s best known novel The Stranger is analyzed by its philosophical explanation Myth of Sysphus which shows that The Stranger is the absurd novel whose protagonist is the absurd man. Camus’s The Stranger was written according to his early novel A Happy Death which is a valuable note to the beginning of his thought which develops in The Rebel and reachs moderation. Mersault is a (negative) rebel who does not know the true rebellion yet, despite Meursault, who understands the balance of life which he disturbed. The thesis defines Camus as literate-philosopher and philosopherliterate whose literature is inseparable from his philosophy. Finally, this thesis wants to contribute to revitalization of his thought.
