Abstract
Cilj teksta je obrada problematike arhitekture 17. i 18. stoljeća u Blatu na Korčuli. U uvodu je prvenstveno obrađen povijesni pregled šire regije, odnosno Mletačke Dalmacije, kako bi se što bolje shvatilo vrijeme nastanka građevina u tekstu. Zatim je obrađena povijesna slika otoka Korčule kao zasebnog elementa u dalmatinskom arealu, te Blata kao mjesta zbivanja povijesnih i građevinskih radnji. Posebno je obrađena arhitektura 17. i 18. stoljeća u Mletačkoj Dalmaciji, te je naveden širi prikaz, bez posebnih primjera, a prikazan je i tip dalmatinskog te perifernog baroka koji je vrlo bitan za ovaj rad. Navedeni su i neki primjeri arhitektonske baštine u Blatu do 17. stoljeća, koju slijedi opis blatske barokne arhitekture. Analiza barokne arhitekture podijeljena je na dva dijela, analizu sakralne te profane arhitekture. Tako su obrađeni: župna crkva i njezin zvonik, loža te blatske crkvice. Pod profanu arhitekturu spadaju blatski kašteli, od kojih je obrađen kaštel obitelji Arneri, kao najvažniji i najočuvaniji primjer. Primjerima je naveden njihov značaj u okvirima takozvane periferne barokne arhitekture Dalmacije.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the text is to adress the issue of 17th and 18th century architecture in Blato on Korčula. The introduction primarily deals with the historical overview of the wider region, that is, Venetian Dalmatia, in order to better understand the timing of the placement of buildings in the texst. Then, the historical image of the island Korčula was treated as a separate element in the Dalmatian area, and Blato as a place of historical and architectural work. The architecture of the 17th and 18th centurie in Venetian Dalmatia has been specially elaborated. Some examples of architectural heritige in Blato up to the 17th century are cited,which are followed with description of Blatoʹs baroque architecture. The analysis of baroque architecture is divided into two parts, the analysis of sacral and profane architecture. The sacral architecture consists of the parish church and its bell tower and the lodge. The profane architecture includes castles, of which the Arneri family castle is treated, as the most important and preserved example. Examples of their significance within the socalled peripheral Baroque architecture of Dalmatia are also noted.
