Abstract
Završni rad pod naslovom Zločin i kazna F. M. Dostojevskog u kontekstu razvoja kriminalističkog romana kao žanra bavi se proučavanjem razvoja kriminalističkog romana u svjetskoj i hrvatskoj književnosti gdje još uvijek nije ispravno vrednovan. Također se bavi teorijskim opisom kriminalističkog romana i trivijalnom književnošću, nastojeći pokazati koje su posebnosti kriminalističkog romana i zašto je jedan od najpopularnijih romana današnjice. Rad daje i kratki pregled ruskog realizma. Drugi dio rada prikazuje roman Zločin i kazna u kontekstu kriminalističkog romana. Prije svega, koje elemente kriminalističkog romana posjeduje te po kojim se elementima razlikuje. Zatim prikazuje Raskoljnikova kao ubojicu, njegove motive, krivnju, kaznu i novi život. Prikazuje i po čemu je osobit istražitelj Porfirije Petrovič te tko je imao najveći utjecaj na Raskoljnikova. Jedan od ciljeva rada je i odgovoriti, referirajući se na filozofe, na filozofska pitanja koja je roman otvorio. To su pitanja postojanja pravednog zločina, činjenice da je Raskoljnikov, iako je ubojica, zadobio brojne čitateljske simpatije te zašto ljudi vole čitati o ubojstvu.
Abstract (english)
The final work, F. M. Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment in the context of development of the criminal novel as a genre, deals with the study of development of the criminal novel in the world literature, with short review on development in Croatian literature, where it still does not have deserved value. The final work also deals with the theoretical description of the novel and with the trivial literature, with the intention to show the specificities of the criminal novel and why is it one of the most popular novels nowdays. The work also gives short review of Russian realism. The second part of the work shows novel Crime and Punishment in the context of criminal novel. First of all, which elements of criminal novel does it have and in which elements is it different. Afterwards it shows Raskoljnikov as a murder, his motives, guilty, punishment and new life. It also shows why is investigator Porfirije Petrovič special and who had the biggest influence on Raskoljnikov. One of the aims of the work is also to answer, reffering to the philosophers, on many philosophical questions which novel has opened. That questions are is there any righteous crime, the fact that even though Raskoljnikov is murderer, he acqiured many reader's affections, the question why people love to read about murder and the question of amnesty.
