Abstract
Nell‟sud d‟Italia, precisamente a Molise, vive una diaspora croata che parla il dialetto chiamato “na našo”, cioè, il croato-molisano. I tre piccoli paesi - Acquaviva Collecroce, San Felice del Molise e Motemitro sono riusciti a mantenere l'identità minoritaria per quasi 500 anni e dal 1999 hanno lo status di minoranza linguistica in Italia. Ci sono molti linguisti che hanno studiato la storia dei croati-molisani e il loro dialetto. Alcuni linguisti importanti per lo studio del croato molisano sono M. Rešetar, M. Pucić, J. Smodlaka, J. Lisac ecc. Non è stato facile stabilire da dove questo popolo proveniva, ma l‟oppinione prevalente è che siano venuti dal territorio del fiume Neretva. Una delle opere più importanti è il “Dizionario dell‟idioma croato-molisano di Montemitro” (2000). Dopo lo spoglio del Dizionario, sono state esaminate 816 parole di origine italiane. I risultati ottenuti in questo studio mostrano un grande influsso della lingua italiana sull‟idioma croato-molisano.
Abstract (english)
In the South of Italy, precisely in Molise, lives a Croatian diaspora that speaks the dialect called "na našo", i.e. the Croatian-Molisan. The three small villages - Acquaviva Collecroce, San Felice del Molise and Motemitro have managed to maintain their identity for almost 500 years and since 1999 they have had the status of linguistic minority in Italy. There are many linguists who have studied the history of Croatians in Molise and their dialect. Some important linguists were M. Rešetar, M. Pucić, J. Smodlaka, J. Lisac etc. It was not easy to determine where this people came from, but the predominant opinion was that they came from the territory of the river Neretva. One of the most important works is "Dictionary of the Croatian-Molisan idiom of Montemitro" (2000). After having analized this dictionary, 816 words of Italian origin were examined. The results in this study show a great influence of the Italian language on the Croatian-Molisan idiom.
