Abstract
Kroz diplomski rad se analiziraju temelji razvoja kritičkog mišljenja koje je postavio Francis Bacon, kritizirajući i osvrćući se na ranije mislioce istog, kao što je bio Aristotel. Ukazuje na važnost ispravnog kritičkog razmišljanja s ciljem donošenja ispravnih odluka i formiranjem ispravnih mišljenja kod pojedinaca. Navode se temeljni uzroci nastajanja brojnih zabluda i predrasuda kojima smo podložni. Bacon predrasude naziva idolima i svrstava ih u 4 skupine - idoli plemena, idoli spilje, idoli kazališta i idoli trga. Također, kroz rad se analiziraju detalji na koje trebamo misliti kako bi izbjegli podložnost ovakvim idolima i zabludama, kojih je u današnje vrijeme sve više. Naglašena je važnost osviještavanja i podučavanja kritičkog mišljenja kroz obrazovne sustave kako bi se spriječila epidemija krivih stajališta.
Abstract (english)
Through the paper we analize fundemental beginning of development of critical thinking that was set up by Francis Bacon, who criticized earlier philosophers of critical thinking, such as Aristotle. The paper shows importance of correct critical thinking with the goal of making right decisions and formating correct thoughts by individuals. Provides fundemantal causes of delusion and prejudice to which we are submissive. Bacon those prejudices calls idols and classifies them into 4 groups - Idols of the Tribe, Idols of the Cave, Idols of the Theatre and Idols of the Marketplace. Also, through the paper, we analize details on which we have to pay attention to avoid submissivness to these idols and delusions that we face everyday. It emphisizes importance of awareness and tutoring critical thinking thorugh educational systems in order to stop epidemic spread of wrong points of view.
