Abstract
Glavni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi razvijenost kompetencija za cjeloživotno učenje kod učitelja i nastavnika u školama na otoku Korčuli i u gradu Splitu. Pokušalo se utvrditi postoji li razlika u samoprocjeni razvijenosti kompetencija za cjeloživotno učenje s obzirom na spol, dob, razinu obrazovanja, veličinu mjesta i vrstu škole u kojoj učitelji i nastavnici rade. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 259 ispitanika, a za prikupljanje podataka korišten je upitnik u kojem su se ispitivali socio-demografski podaci ispitanika i njihova samoprocjena razvijenosti kompetencija. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su da spol, veličina mjesta i vrsta škole ne utječu na razvijenost kompetencija za cjeloživotno učenje, ali dob i razina obrazovanja utječu i to u području digitalnih i informacijskih kompetencija. Također je utvrđeno da u stručnom usavršavanju sudjeluje 91,9% ispitanika što je visok postotak, no Europska komisija propisuje stručno usavršavanje obveznim za svakog učitelja i nastavnika, stoga ostaje otvoreno pitanje što je s onim 8,1% ispitanika.
Abstract (english)
The main objective of this research was to determine the lifelong learning competences development of teachers working in schools on the island of Korčula and in the city of Split. An attempt was made to determine whether there was a difference in the self-assessment of lifelong learning competences development with regard to gender, age, level of education, size of the locality, and type of school in which teachers work. A total of 259 respondents participated in the research, and a questionnaire was used to collect the data about sociodemographics of the respondents and their self-assessment of competence development. The results show that gender, size of the locality and type of school do not affect the development of lifelong learning competencies. However, age and level of education do, specifically in the area of digital and information competences. It was also found that 91.9% of the respondents participate in professional development training, which is a high percentage, but the European Commission prescribes professional development training as compulsory for every teacher, therefore the question remains: what about those 8.1% of the respondents?
