Abstract
In questo lavoro si analizza il ruolo del processo di intensificazione, un fenomeno che investe il livello morfologico, semantico e pragmatico. Ci si concentra sui processi di modificazione, più precisamente si approfondisce un particolare tipo di ripetizione – i costrutti con due aggettivi nella lingua italiana. Vengono presentati i diversi costrutti con due aggettivi trovati nei vari dizionari e nelle grammatiche italiane. In seguito, viene fatta la consultazione dei corpora itWaC e CORIS per verificare l’uso dei costrutti prescelti. Gli esempi estratti dai due corpora vengono analizzati per capire il loro uso nell’italiano contemporaneo. Infine, si raggruppano i costrutti sinonimici e si osservano le possibili differenze tra di essi.
Abstract (english)
In this work we analyze the role of the intensification process, a phenomenon that affects the morphological, semantic and pragmatic level. We focus on the modification processes, more precisely we deepen a particular type of repetition ‒ constructs with two adjectives in the Italian language. The different constructs with two adjectives found in the various Italian dictionaries and grammars are presented. The consultation of the itWaC and CORIS corpora is then made to verify the use of the chosen constructs. The examples extracted from the two corpora are analyzed to understand their use in contemporary Italian. Finally, synonymous constructs are grouped and possible differences between them are observed.
