Abstract
Internalizirani problemi su nerijetko izvana teško uočljivi, a odnose se na ponašanja koja pojedinca onemogućavaju prilikom normalnog funkcioniranja te su uglavnom usmjerena prema sebi. Ti su problemi u velikoj mjeri prisutni meĎu svim dobnim skupinama. Cilj ovog istraţivanja bio je istraţiti zastupljenost internaliziranih problema u ponašanju i to: depresivnosti, anksioznosti, stresa i suicidalnosti kod studenata Sveučilišta u Splitu. Istraţivanje je provedeno na uzorku od 241 studenta. Korištena su dva upitnika – DASS-21 (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale) (Lovibond i Lovibond, 1995) i SBQ-R (Suicide Behaviors Questionnaire – Revised) (Osman i sur., 2001). Rezultati su pokazali kako velik dio studenata doţivljava ozbiljne i vrlo ozbiljne simptome depresivnosti (23,7%), anksioznosti (30,2%) i stresa (21,2%). TakoĎer, velik se dio njih nalazi u rizičnoj skupini za počinjenje samoubojstva (14,1%).
Abstract (english)
Internalized problems are frequently externally hard to perceive. They refer to those behaviors which prevent the individual from normal functioning and are mostly self-focused. Those problems are largely present among all age groups. The aim of this research was to investigate presence of depression, anxiety, stress and suicidality among students of University of Split, determine the distribution of internalized problems according to gender and to verify the correlation between internalized problems and academic achievement. The research was conducted on a sample of 241 students. Two questionnaires were used – DASS-21 (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale) (Lovibond i Lovibond, 1995) i SBQ-R (Suicide Behaviors Questionnaire – Revised) (Osman et al., 2001). The results have shown that a large portion of students experiences serious and very serious symptoms of depression (23,7%), anxiety (30,2%) and stress (21,2%). Also, a large portion of them can be classified as a high risk group for suicidal attempt (14,1%).
