As far as the semantic meaning is concerned, the word ''quality'' makes us think about the positive values such as happiness, success, richness, health or pleasure. The word ''living'' shows us that the concept is refering to the main aspects of human existance (Lindstrom, 1992). Based on a general definition of the subject and a factor of the quality of living, this study gives us a whole spectrum of modern discoveries about factors and indicators of the evaluation regarding the quality of living. One sociological research regarding attitudes, opinions and perceptions of examinees about the quality of living from the aspect of the quality of habitation, lutural offer and the quality od ecological aspects. has been done. The empirical research done in August 2015 based on 51 households of Mejaši district has shown the particular condition of respective aspects. The results demonstrate the satisfaction of almost every resident regarding the infrastructure, technical equipment and conditions of living in the neighbourhood. Also, the quality of living has been verified both through the offer of cultural activities in the neighbourhood, not satisfactory for the majority of residents, and mainly neutral attitude regardig the cultural offer in Split. According to the results, the examinees mostly point out the problem of the landfill Karepovac believing that green surfaces have an important role both in the quality of living and the urban lifestyle.
