Abstract
L’argomento di questa tesi sono gli aggettivi numerali. Prima viene definito il termine numerale e gli aggettivi numerali a seconda delle loro definizioni linguistiche e poi a seconda delle loro funzioni nel campo della pragmatica. L’analisi poi si concentra sulle espressioni idiomatiche come la parte della fraseologia e sui valori approssimati degli aggettivi numerali. Usando i vari dizionari e le grammatiche disponibili si esaminano le funzioni e valori indeterminati dei numerali cardinali, ordinali e collettivi. Si è deciso di approfondire l’uso pragmatico dei numerali collettivi. A tale scopo si è servito di due corpora della lingua italiana disponibili online, CORIS/CODIS e itWaC per poter illustrare i loro usi pragmatici nella lingua italiana contemporanea.
Abstract (english)
Numbers in Italian The argument of this thesis are numerals. In the first place, term numeral and the numerals are defined according to their linguistic definitions and secondly according to their pragmatic functions. The analysis is focusing on idiomatic expressions which are the part of phraseology and it is focusing on the approximate values of numerals. Using various dictionaries and grammars, functions and indeterminate values of cardinal, ordinal and collective numerals are being examined. It has been decided to deepen the pragmatic use of collective numerals. To illustrate their pragmatic uses in contemporary Italian, the examples are taken from two corpora available online, CORIS / CODIS and itWaC.
