Abstract
Prevladava mišljenje kako je kapitalizam univerzalni lijek protiv svih dosadašnjih podjela i sukoba, put do konačnog blagostanja i ljudske sreće. Na koje načine vladajući ekonomski sistem utječe na živote građana, koliko smo prihvatili neoliberalizaciju kao prirodnu i neizbježnu i na koji način takav model vladanja utječe na društvo u postsocijalističkoj konsolidaciji; samo su neka od pitanja koja će se pokušati odgovoriti ovim radom. Naglo uzdizanje političkih elita, prevladavajuća korupcija, nezainteresiranost za malog čovjeka, manjak sudjelovanja u političkim procesima, gubitak povjerenja u institucije.. Sve su to posljedice odnosa politike prema građanima i potonji su izrazili visoku razinu nezadovoljstva postojećim stanjem. Čini se kako građani ipak primjećuju da nešto nije u redu, u prenaglašenoj individualizaciji koju je kapitalizam pobjedonosno predstavio čini im se da su prepušteni samo sebi i od svojih političkih elita očekuju pomoć.
Abstract (english)
It is a common oppinion that capitalism is the universal cure against all existing divisions and conflicts, the path to final bliss and human happiness. In which ways does the ruling economic system influence the lives of its citizens, in what measure have we accepted neoliberalisation as natural and inevitable and how does that ruling model influence the society in postsocialist condolidation; are only some of the questions which we will attempt to answer in this paper. Rapid ascension the the political elites, prevailing corruption, no interest in the problems of the common man, lack of participation in the political processes, loss of trust in the institutions.. Those are all consequences of politic's relation towards it's citizens and the latter have expressed a high level of discontent towards the existing state. It seems as if the people are beginning to notice that something is not right, in the over accentuated individualisation which capitalism victoriousty presented, they seem to be left on their own and are expecting help from their elected leaders
