Abstract
Sve veći napredak tehnologije iziskuje promjene metoda podučavanja u odgojno-obrazovnom sustavu. Dio nastavnika koristi obrazovnu tehnologiju za potpomaganje obrazovanja njihovih učenika dok drugi dio još uvijek ne koriste prednosti obrazovne tehnologije. Razlozi su različiti: od straha do neznanja. Obrnuta učionica je mogući odgovor na primjenu i promjenu u obrazovanju. U radu se donosi teorijski okvir, povijesni razvoj te prednosti i nedostatci koncepta obrnute učionice. Kroz primjene u stvarnom životu i obrazovanju, manjkavosti koncepta obrnute učionice može se svesti na minimum. To se može postići pravilnim uvođenjem i implementacijom ovog koncepta koji zahtijeva da se za njen uspjeh pronađu programi i alati koji zadovoljavaju potrebe nastavnika i učenika. U svijetu je implementacija koncepta obrnute učionice dosta zastupljena dok je u Republici Hrvatskoj još u manjoj mjeri. Ipak, iz godine u godinu se obrazovanje u odgojno-obrazovnim ustanovama razvija pa postoji mogućnost da za nekoliko godina i mi počnemo prepoznavati vrijednost koncepta obrnute učionice i susretnemo se s njome u nastavi. Prelazak na online nastavu uoči izvanrednog stanja zbog epidemije koronavirusa u RH bi mogao uvelike doprinijeti većoj primjeni obrazovne tehnologije u odgojno-obrazovni sustav.
Abstract (english)
The increasing advancement of technology requires changes in teaching methods in the educational system. Some teachers use technology tools to support the education of their students, while others still don’t take advantage of educational technology. The reasons differ: from fear to ignorance. The flipped classroom is a possible answer to a change in education. The paper presents the theoretical framework, historical development, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the flipped classroom concept. Through real-life and educational implementation, the shortcomings of the flipped classroom concept can be minimized. This can be achieved with a precise introduction, as well as with the implementation of this concept. It requires, for its success, that programs, and tools meeting the needs of both teachers and students be found. The implementation of the flipped classroom concept is quite common worldwide, while it is much less common in the Republic of Croatia. However, education is continually developing, so there is a possibility that we will soon start to recognize the value of the flipped classroom concept and witness it in teaching. In the Republic of Croatia, the transition to online teaching at the time of the state of emergency due to the coronavirus epidemic could greatly contribute to the greater implementation of educational technology in the educational system.
