Abstract
Roditeljska uloga jedna je od najvažnijih uloga u životu pojedinca. Pod utjecajem je svih društvenih promjena i suočena je sa stalnim izazovima. U ovome radu opisane su temeljne postavke roditeljstva i djetetovog razvoja. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi roditeljski utjecaj na neke aspekte djetetovog ponašanja i prikazati raspodjelu tih utjecaja u varijablama koje se odnose na školsku uspješnost djeteta, na djetetovo slobodno vrijeme te na socijalizaciju djeteta. Ukupan broj roditelja osnovnoškolske djece koji je sudjelovao u istraživanju je 215, od toga 210 majki i 5 očeva. Istraživanje je provedeno u srpnju 2015., a u provedbi istraživanja korištena je prevedena i prilagođena inačica Skale roditeljske djelotvornosti (Bandura i sur., 2001.). Rezultati pokazuju da roditelji uglavnom imaju utjecaja na ponašanje svoje djece. Mali broj ispitanih roditelja procjenjuje kako nema nikakav utjecaj na navedene varijable unutar tri grupe roditeljskih utjecaja.
Abstract (english)
Parental role is one of the most important roles in the life of an individual. It is strongly influenced by all the changes in the society and faces many challenges. This paper depicts fundamental postulates of parenting and child development. The aim of this research was to determine parental influence on some aspects of child's behaviour and to show distribution of these influences in variables applied on child's academic achievement, free time and socialization. The total number of parents of primary school children who participated in the study was 215, of which 210 mothers and 5 fathers. The study was conducted in July 2015. A translated and adapted version of the Parental Self-Efficacy Scale (Bandura et al., 2001.) was used. The results show that parents, in general, have inffluence on their child's behaviour. A few of the surveyed parents assess that there is no influence on these variables within the three groups of parents' influence.
