Abstract
Leonardo da Vinci prije 500 godina nije samo revolucionirao umjetnost, već je u svojim mnogim studijama anticipirao i znanstvena otkrića kasnije epohe. U ovom radu govori se o raznolikosti da Vincijevih interesa, a ujedno nudi i širok raspon umjetniĉkog postignuća renesansnog genija. Da Vincijevi crteţi podijeljeni su po fazama njegove karijere. Pregled njegovih crteţa od 1478. do 1519. godine omogućuje nam da jasnije doţivimo ovog velikog umjetnika u njegovim ulogama istraţivaĉa anatomije, znanstvenika, graĊevinskog i vojnog inţenjera, hidrologa, kartografa, izumitelja te drugih. Njegov genijalni i raznovrsni rad upravo se vidi u crteţima kroz koji pratimo stalni tok njegovih ideja. Da Vinci je crtao ono što je promatrao iz svijeta oko sebe, ukljuĉujući ljudsku anatomiju, ţivotinjski i biljni svijet, kretanje vode let ptica, i drugo. TakoĊer je istraţivao mehanizme strojeva koji su se koristili u njegovo doba, usput izmišljajući mnoge korisne ureĊaje.
Abstract (english)
Leonardo da Vinci did not only revolutionize art 500 years ago but in his many studies also anticipated the scientific discoveries of a later era. This paper discusses the diversity of da Vinci's interests, and at the same time offers a wide range of artistic achievements of this Renaissance genius. Da Vinci’s drawings are divided by stages of his career. A review of his drawings from 1478. to 1519. allows us to experience this great artist more clearly in his different roles of an anatomist, scientist, civil and military engineer, hydrologist, cartographer, inventor, and other. His ingenious and diverse work can be seen in the drawings through which we follow the constant flow of his ideas. Da Vinci drew what he observed from the world around him, including human anatomy, fauna and flora, the movement of water the flight of birds, etc. He also researched the mechanisms behind the machines used in his time, inventing many devices along the way.
