Abstract
Feministička i postkolonijalna književnost i kritika ostavile su velik trag u teorijama dvadesetog, ali i dvadeset i prvog stoljeća. Na tragu njihovih ideja nastao je roman Adua talijanske autorice Igiabe Scego. Roman objedinjuje teme kolonijalne traume i odnosa oca i kćeri, ali i muško-ženske hijerarhije u društvu. Ovaj završni rad analizira na koji su način u romanu predstavljeni rod i rodne uloge. Prvi dio rada sadrži teorijsku na temelju feminističke kritike, dok se sama analiza s glavnom podjelom na rodne uloge obrađuje u drugom dijelu rada.
Abstract (english)
Feminist and postcolonial literature and criticism has left a big mark in the literary theories of the 20th and the 21st century. The novel Adua by the Italian author Igiaba Scego was written following their ideas. The novel brings together the themes of colonial trauma and the father-daughter relationship, but also of the gender hierarchy in Somalian society. This paper analyzes how gender and gender roles are presented in the novel. The first part of the paper contains the theoretical background of feminist criticism, while the analysis of division of gender roles and the way they are handled is dealt with in the second part of the paper.
