Abstract
U ovom završnom radu analiziran je prijelazno gotičko-renesansni stil graditelja Jurja Dalmatinca te njegove radionice i sljedbenika. Juraj Dalmatinac, glasoviti hrvatski kipar i graditelj rodom iz Zadra, jedan je od najvažnijih i najranijih predstavnika gotičko-renesansnog stila koji se učestalo pojavljuje na građevinama dalmatinskih gradova između 15. i 16. stoljeća. Sinteza gotike i renesanse prisutna je na gotovo svim djelima Jurja Dalmatinca u Dalmaciji, počevši od njegovih najranijih radova. Osim u Dalmaciji, Juraj Dalmatinac prije povratka u domovinu djelovao je u Italiji. U Veneciji sudjeluje na izgradnji Porta della Carta i Scuole di San Marco, dok je u Anconi radio na Loggia dei Mercanti. Od 1441. godine zabilježena je Jurjeva intenzivna djelatnost u Dalmaciji gdje ostaje sve do smrti, a njegovim najvažnijim djelom smatra se izgradnja Šibenske katedrale. Pitanje radionice Jurja Dalmatinca, odnosno pitanje njenog postojanja, u literaturi je izaziva brojne polemike. Iako je striktno definiranje Jurjeve radionice u tradicionalnom smislu te riječi upitno, sa sigurnošću možemo kazati kako se majstor Juraj pri izvedbi svojih radova u Dalmaciji i Italiji služio brojnim pomagačima, klesarima i kiparima, mnogi od kojih su preuzeli i nastavili širiti odlike Jurjevog gotičko-renesansnog stila.
Abstract (english)
In this undergradiate thesis, the transitional Gothic-Renaissance style of the builder Juraj Dalmatinac (George of Sebenico, Giorgio da Sebenico) and his workshop and followers are analyzed. Juraj Dalmatinac, a famous Croatian sculptor and builder born in Zadar, is one of the most important and earliest representatives of the Gothic-Renaissance style, which often appears on the buildings of Dalmatian cities between the 15th and 16th century. The synthesis of Gothic and Renaissance is present in almost all works of Juraj Dalmatinac in Dalmatia, starting from his earliest works. Apart from Dalmatia, Juraj Dalmatinac worked in Italy before returning to his homeland. In Venice he participated in the construction of the Porta della Carta and the Scuole di San Marco, while in Ancona he worked on the Loggia dei Mercanti. From 1441, Juraj's intensive activity was recorded in Dalmatia, where he remained until his death, and his most important work is considered to be the construction of the Šibenik Cathedral. The question of the workshop of Juraj Dalmatinac, that is, the question of its existence, provokes numerous controversies in the literature. Although the strict definition of George's workshop in the traditional sense of the word is questionable, we can say with certainty that Master Juraj used numerous helpers, stonemasons and sculptors in performing his works in Dalmatia and Italy, many of whom took over and continued to spread the features of Juraj's Gothic-Renaissance style.
