Abstract
Predmet sociološkog istraživanja su kvaliteta života stanovnika grada Splita: onih koji žive u gradskoj jezgri i Dioklecijanovoj palači. Kvalitativno istraživanje je provedeno metodom polustrukturiranog intervjua u razdoblju od 26. srpnja 2021. do 11. kolovoza 2021. godine s 25 sudionika koji žive tijekom čitave godine unutar Dioklecijanove palače i gradske jezgre. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, najveći dio ima općenito negativno mišljenje o turizmu u Splitu, kvalitetu života većinom... More smatraju lošom te misle da je prije bila bolja. Od najpozitivnijih čimbenika na kvalitetu života u Splitu ističu lokaciju i veličinu grada, kao i more i klimu. Od najvećih problema tu su parking i promet, zatim buka i javni red. Najveći broj smatra da je pandemija Covida – 19 imala loš utjecaj na njihovu kvalitetu života, a samo dvoje manje smatra da je utjecala pozitivno, najviše zbog smanjenja turizma. Sudionici smatraju da turizam negativno utječe na vizuru Dioklecijanove palače i gradske jezgre Splita. Najveći dio sudionika smatra da nema pozitivnih utjecaja turizma na kvalitetu života, a nakon toga pozitivno ističu novac. Najnegativniji utjecaj turizma je buka i javni red zbog turizma, a zatim parking, infrastruktura i gužve. Najviše sudionika razmišlja o preseljenju iz gradske jezgre u mirnije kvartove zbog turizma, a najveću potrebu od gradske vlasti i politike za smanjenje negativnih utjecaja turizma ističu infrastrukturu i komunalni red Less
Abstract (english)
The subject of sociological research is the quality of life of the citizens of Split: the ones that live in the city centre and in the Diocletian Palace. The qualitative research was conducted by the method of semi-structured interview in the period from July 26th, 2021. to August 11th, 2021. among 25 participants who live within the Diocletian Palace and the city centre during the entire year. According to the results obtained, the majority of participants have mainly negative... More opinion on tourism in Split, the quality of life is mostly considered to be poor and it is believed that it had been better before. From the most positive aspects on the quality of life in Split, they point out the location and the size of the city as well as the sea and the climate. Between the biggest problems, there are the parking spaces and the traffic and then the noise and the public order. The majority considers that the Covid – 19 pandemic has had a bad impact on their quality of life and just a couple less believe that it has had a positive impact, mainly because of the decrease of tourism. The great majority believes that the tourism has a negative influence on the views of the Diocletian Palace and the city centre. The majority thinks that 75 there are no positive effects of tourism on the quality of life while afterward, they point out the money as a positive aspect. The most negative impact of tourism is the noise and the public order caused by tourism and then the parking spaces, infrastructure and crowd. The majority thinks about moving from the city centre in the quieter areas because of the tourism and they point out the infrastructure and the local regulation as the greatest necessities from the city officials and politics in order to decrease the negative influences of tourism.
