Abstract
Biciklizam je u zadnjim godinama postao popularniji nego ikad prije. Osim što pruža brojne benefite za zdravlje i izvrsno je sredstvo prijevoza, postao je sve popularniji i kao sportska aktivnost. S porastom ciljeva raste i potreba za strukturiranim planom treninga. Postoje samo tri varijable kod dizajniranja treninga: frekvencija, trajanje i intenzitet. Dobro organiziran trening svodi se na balansiranje ovih varijabli. Potrebno je upoznati se s konceptima polariziranog treninga i periodizacije. Na temelju ovih faktora stvara se godišnji plan treninga, a filozofija na kojoj cijeli trening počiva može se sažeti u jednu rečenicu: što je utrka bliže, trening postaje sve više nalik utrci.
Abstract (english)
In recent years cycling has become more popular then ever. In addition to providing numerous health benefits and being an excellent means of transportation, it has also become increasingly popular as a sporting activity. As the goals increase, so does the need for a structured training plan. When designing a workout plan there are only three variables to consider: frequency, duration and intensity. Well structured training plan comes down to balancing these variables. It is necessary to become familiar with concepts of polarized training and periodisation. Based on these factors, an annual training plan is created, and training philosophy behind it can be reduced to one sentence: the closer you get to your race, the more like the race your workouts must become.
