Abstract
Glavni cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati stavove roditelja djece rane školske dobi i kasne osnovnoškolske dobi o utjecaju društvenih medija na njihovu djecu. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 10 roditelja, a za odgovaranje na cilj istraživanja i istraživačka pitanja korištena kvalitativna metodologija i polustrukturirani intevju. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su kako djeca ispitanika (društvene) medije koriste između 15 minuta do nekoliko sati dnevno te da preferiraju korištenje različitih društvenih mreža. Roditelji općenito smatraju kako društveni mediji utječu na process učenja i obrazovanja njihove djece, kao i na njihovo ponašanje te razvoj morala, samoregulacije i vrijednosti.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of the research was to examine the attitudes of parents of children of early school age and late primary school age about the impact of social media on their children. A total of 10 parents participated in the research and to answer the goal of the research and reserch questions, qualitative methodology and a semi-structured interview were used. The obtained results showed that the respondents' children use (social) media between 15 minutes and several hours a day and that they prefere to use different social networks. Parents generally believe that social media influence on the learning and education process of their children, as well as their behavior and the development of morals, self-regulation and values.
