Abstract
U ovom radu proučava se pitanje zla i krivnje u djelu Hanne Arendt i Karla Jaspersa. Ta se pitanja sagledavaju u svjetlu događaja Drugog svjetskog rata i njegovih posljedica. Jaspers i Arendt analiziraju zlo i krivnju iz perspektive usmjerene prema oslobođenju i oprostu. Krivnji nitko ne može pobjeći, ne možemo je se otarasiti. Možemo je, međutim, prihvatiti i preuzeti odgovornost, bilo za sudjelovanje ili nesudjelovanje. Banalno zlo je najgore zlo koje čovjek čini. Ne čini ga aktivno kao osoba, nego kao netko tko je iz banalnih razloga zaboravio biti osoba.
Abstract (english)
This paper examines the question of evil and guilt in the work of Hannah Arendt and Karl Jaspers. These issues are observed in the light of the events of World War II and its aftermath. Jaspers and Arendt are analyzing evil and guilt from the perspective aimed at liberation and forgiveness. No one can escape guilt, we can not get rid of it. We can accept it and take responsibility for either participation or non-participation. Banal evil is the worst evil that man can do. Not doing it actively as a person, but as someone who forgot to be a person because of banal reason.
