Abstract
L’avvento del regime fascista in Italia ebbe anche ripercussioni sulla lingua italiana. L’obiettivo principale del regime fu di creare un italiano standard comune a tutti gli italiani. La politica linguistica del fascismo cercava di ottenere la purezza dell’italiano attraverso il divieto delle parole di origine straniera e dell’uso del dialetto e delle altre lingue nelle regioni con popolazione mista. Lo scopo della tesi è di analizzare l’uso dei prestiti del lessico sportivo e dei loro sostituti italiani nell’italiano contemporaneo.
Abstract (english)
When fascism rose to power in Italy that also had the repercussions on the Italian language. Main focus of the regime was to create a standard Italian common to all Italians. The language policy of fascism wanted to create a pure Italian language through banning words of foreign origin, and the use of dialects and other languages in regions with mixed population. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the use of loanwords from the sport lexis and of their Italian substitues in the contemporary Italian language.
