Abstract
Ostvarivanje dobre suradnje i partnerskih odnosa roditelja i odgojitelja predstavljaju jedan od ključnih čimbenik za razvoj djeteta, ali i najteži izazov s kojim se odgojitelji susreću. Odgojiteljska kompetencija za suradnju s roditeljima dio je profesionalnih kompetencija odgojitelja. Biti kompetentan u području suradnje s roditeljima znači imati široku lepezu stručnih znanja koja bi uključivala različita taktička znanja i vještine za aktiviranje roditelja, znanja o obiteljskoj dinamici i način funkcioniranju unutar nje. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati samoprocjenu profesionalnih kompetencija odgojitelja za suradnju s roditeljma. U istraživanju sudjelovalo je 228 odgojitelja dobi od 21 do 64 godine (M=41,15; SD=10,39). Ispitanici su imali od 2 mjeseca do 42 godine radnog iskustva (M=15,19; SD=10,71). Pomoću upitnika, ispitanici su procjenjivali vlastite kompetencije. Procjena je bila moguća na petostupanjskoj skali Likertovog tipa. Analizom rezultata pokazano je da su se ispitanici procjenili kompetentnima u području suradnje s roditeljima. Utvrđena je statistički značjna povezanost razine obrazovanja i procjene profesionalnih kompetencija. Također, odgojitelja starije životne dobi i dužeg radnog staža imaju višu razinu samoprocjene profesionalnih kompetencija odgojitelja za suradnju s roditeljima u odnosu na one mlađe i one sa kraćim radnim iskustvom. Istraživanje je pokazalo da ne postoji statistički značajna razlika procjene profesionalnih kompetencija u odnosu na osnivača ustanove i u odnosu na učestalost edukacije. No, uspoređivajući pojedine skupine pokazana je razlika u samoprocjeni između ispitanika koji nisu sudjelovali na stručnim usavršavanjima te kod ispitanika koji su sudjelovali na tri i više usavršavanja tijekom posljednje tri godine. Vodeći se rezultatima dobivenim navedenim istraživanjem možemo zaključiti o važnosti kontinurianog profesionalog usavršavanja odgojitelja na području suradnje s roditeljima. Navedena profesionalna kompetencija može se i mora kontinuirano razvijati. Rezultati ovog istraživanja mogu poslužiti kao poticaj za razumijevanje važnosti kontinuiranog profesionalnog usavršavanja odgojitelja.
Abstract (english)
Achieving good cooperation and partnership between parents and teachers is one of the key factors for child development, but also the most difficult challenge that tearchers face. Educational competence for cooperation with parents is part of the professional competencies of teachers. Being competent in the field of cooperation with parents means having a wide range of professional knowledge, which would include various tactical knowledge and skills for activating parents, knowledge about family dynamics and how to function within it. The aim of this research was to examine the self-assessment of the professional competence of teachers for cooperation with parents. 228 teachers aged 21 to 64 participated in the research (M-41 15 SD-10.39). The respondents had from 2 months to 42 years of work experience (M- 15.19. SD-10.71). assessed their own competences. The assessment was possible on a five- point Likert-type scale. The analysis of the results showed that the respondents assessed themselves as competent in the field of cooperation with parents. A statistically significant connection between the level of education and the assessment of professional competences was established. Also, teachers who are older and have a longer working experience have a higher level of self-assessment of their professional competencies for cooperation with parents compared to younger ones and those with shorter work experience. The research showed that there is no statistically significant difference in the assessment of professional competences in relation to the founder of the institution and in relation to the frequency of education. However, comparing individual groups, a difference in self-assessment was shown between subjects who did not take part in professional training and subjects who took part in three or more training courses during the last three years. Guided by the results of the aforementioned research, we can conclude about the importance of continuous professional development of teachers in the field of cooperation with parents. The aforementioned professional competence can and must be developed.
