Abstract
Posttraumatski stresni poremećaj se kod djece razvija nakon izlaganja stvarnoj ili prijetećoj smrti, ozbiljnom ozljeđivanju ili seksualnom nasilju na način da osoba izravno svjedoči traumatskom događaju, osobno svjedoči traumatskom događaju koji se dogodio drugoj osobi, kroz saznanje da se traumatski događaj dogodio članu obitelji ili bliskoj osobi ili kroz intenzivno ili višestruko izlaganje detaljima traumatskog događaja. PTSP se može podijeliti na akutni, kronični i odloženi. Kod PTSP-a razlikujemo simptome nametanja, simptome izbjegavanja podražaja, negativne promjene kognicije i promjene u pobuđenosti i reaktivnosti. Posjedovanje određenih rizičnih faktora može izazvati i pomoći održati simptome kod oboljelih pa razlikujemo sljedeće rizične faktore: okolinske, demografske, kognitivne, biološke, obiteljske i genetske rizične faktori zatim disocijaciju i prijašnje psihijatrijske poremećaje i dimenzije ličnosti. PTSP se kod djece javlja zajedno s komorbidnim poremećajima poput anksioznosti, depresije i ovisnosti o psihoaktivnim tvarima. Liječenje može biti psihofarmakološko,, psihoterapijsko i psihosocijalno.
Abstract (english)
Posttraumatic stress disorder can develop in children if they've directly experienced the traumatic event, witnessed in person, the event as it occurred to others, if they learned that the traumatic event occurred to a close family member or close friend or they were repeatedly extremely exposed to aversive details of the traumatic event. We distinguish between three types of PTSD: acute, chronic and PTSD with a delayed onset. PTSD symptoms are generally grouped into four types: intrusive symptoms, avoidance, negative changes in cognitions and mood and marked alterations in arousal and reactivity. Having one or more risk factors for PTSD can bring about and help mantain symptoms of the disorder. We can categorize risk factors into: environmental, demographic, congitive, biological, familial and genetic risk factors as well as dissociation and prior psychiatric conditions and aspects of personality. PTSD can co-occur with comorbid disorders like anxiety, depression and addiction. Iti s treated with therapy and/or medication.
