Children with disabilities, among which also includes children with autism, are participating in the process of inclusion, and are included in the mainstream education system, including the physical education. Autism is a primary disorder of autistic spectrum disorder characterized by disorder of socialization, difficulties in verbal and nonverbal communication, and restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior. The intellectual development of children with these disorders varies, from severe forms of mental retardation to normal or above-average level of intelligence. Along with autistic disorder the autism spectrum disorders include Asperger syndrome, Rett's disorder, Heller disorder (Child disintegrative disorder) and nonspecific-pervasive developmental disorder. Autistic children also participate in teaching physical education. Although they have a certain motor disorders, children with autism can actually perform most physical activities performed by other children with typical development, but they lack motivation and have a resistance to something that is new and they are not interested. The teacher needs to master the child's initial resistance and to motivate him to perform certain physical activities that a child with autism adopts best imitation. When a child is adopted from performing certain physical activities he or she will be safe and will be able to run independently or in pairs and groups, which encourages his or hers socialization, and that is one of the biggest problems of autistic children. Teacher certainly should not exclude children with disabilities from teaching physical education.
