Abstract
U radu se raspravlja o tradicionalnom i suvremenom poimanju odgoja i obrazovanja u ustanovama ranog i predškolskog odgoja u Hrvatskoj te elementima Reggio pedagogije koji su prisutni u kurikulumu i odgojno-obrazovnom djelovanju. Reggio koncepcija predstavlja otvorenu teoriju koja se stvara i razvija kroz praksu i koja se stalno isprobava u praksi, koju se može učiniti vidljivom, koju se može interpretirati i o kojoj se može (i treba) diskutirati, i kroz koju se treba kontinuirano razvijati. Ustanove za rani i predškolski odgoj u Hrvatskoj polako se mijenjaju u ''organizacije koje uče'', te se kao i Reggio pedagogija, temelje na kontinuiranom usavršavanju i mijenjanju, razmjenom i uključenošću svih sudionika koji predstavljaju ravnopravne partnere učenja i sustvaratelje uvijek promjenjivog kurikuluma. Usmjerenost na dijete, razvoj dječje samostalnosti i stvaralaštva, izbor i planiranje sadržaja te institucijski kontekst prožeti su elementima Reggio pedagogije koja u svojoj osnovi smatra da su sva djeca talentirana i jedinstvena na svoj način, a odgojitelji trebaju biti svjesni svih dječjih potencijala i kreirati okružje koje će poticati njihov razvoj.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the understanding of the traditional and modern curriculum in the early childhood and preschool education institutions in Croatia, and with the elements of Reggio pedagogy which are present in the curriculum itself and in the educational activity. Reggio concept is an open theory that is created and developed through practice and one that is constantly trying out in practice, which can be visible, which can be interpreted and which the can (and should) be debated, and through which we should continually develop. Early Childhood and Preschool Education Institutions in Croatia are slowly changing into the 'learning organizations'' and, like Reggio pedagogy, are based on continuous improvement and change, sharing and involvement of all participants who are equal partners in learning and co-creators of always changing curriculum. Focus on the child, on the development of children's independence and creativity, choice and planning of the content and institutional context has elements of Reggio pedagogy which is based on the belief that all children are extremely talented and unique in their own way, and educators need to be aware of all of the children's potentials and create environment that will foster their development.
