Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti ne samo riječ „amore“ i njezineizvedenice kao i kolokacije i idiomatske izraze koje sadrže riječ „amore i “. Na ovaj način se istražuju sva značenja riječi „amore“ nudi uz kontekste u kojima se koristi, zajedno s kolokacijama i idiomatskim izrazima koji čine važan dio talijanskog jezika. Koristeći se rječnicima i rječničkim definicijima donosi se cjeloviti prikaz riječi „amore“. Korišten je Coris, online korpus, te dva podkorpusa: „Stampa/Quotidiani“ i „Narrativa/Romanzi“ kako bi se pokazala učestalost riječ „amore“.. Nakon analize može se zaključiti da su pojedina značenja riječi „amore“ izgubila svoju ulogu u suvremenom talijanskom jeziku, iako postoje mnoga značenja koja se koriste u različitim kontekstima, a manje su poznata od onog osnovnog koje se odnosi na fizički i emocionalni aspekt ljubavi. Analiza izvedenica, idiomatskih izraza i kolokacija ukazuje na njihovu važnost i status u suvremenom jeziku. Može se zaključiti da su lingvističke promjene uzrokovane povijesnim događajima i promjenom načina života, pa tako i svaka riječ tijekom vremena prolazi kroz procese semantičkog širenje i sužavanja svog značenjskog polja i na taj način utječe i na jezične mijene.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of this research is to examine all the meanings of the word "love" with derivatives, idiomatic expressions and collocations that contain the word "amore". In this way one can observe all aspects of a word “amore”, all its meanings and the contexts in which it is used, along with the collocations and idioms that make the important part of the Italian language. Taking into account all the dictionaries used we become aware of what the word "love" is and what it could be in contemporary language. Coris, an online corpus, is used along with two subcorpora, “Stampa/Quotidiani” and “Narrativa/Romanzi”, in order to examine the frequency of use of the word "love", its derivatives, idioms and collocations. It is obvious that not all the meanings have relevance in contemporary language, while there are many meanings alongside the basic definitions that make the distinction between two aspects of love, the physical and the emotional one. In addition, the analysis of derivatives, idiomatic expressions and collocations shows their importance and their status in the contemporary Italian language. In conclusion, the lexical and semantic changes occur as a result of historical events and lifestyle changes. Each word passes through the processes of semantic expansion or narrowing of its meaning and thus influences the language changes in general.
