Abstract
Rad pokušava pokazati različite aspekte tijela i tjelesnosti u romanima Slavenke Drakulić. Na početku se govori o poimanju tjelesnosti kroz povijesne epohe te važnosti koju predstavljaju koža i dodir, s biološkog i filozofskog gledišta. Feminističkom teorijom o tijelu kao prostoru upisivanja ideologije patrijarhata započinjemo dio koji objašnjava kako je tijelo kulturalna konstrukcija. Sociokulturne, povijesne i političke prilike prema tome utječu na doživljaj tijela. Postmoderno tijelo, kao nositelj mnogostrukih identiteta, uvodi nas u književnost tijela i tjelesnosti kao čestim motivima ženske književnosti i približava nas problemu tjelesnosti teksta. Središnje je mjesto rada analiza Holograma straha, Mramorne kože, Božanske gladi, Kao da me nema, Fride ili o boli i Optužene. Tijelo u tim romanima stoji kao dokaz da ono lako može biti razoreno prvenstveno bolešću, ljubavlju i utjecajem drugih ljudi.
Abstract (english)
This thesis aims to show different aspects of the body and corporeity in the novels of Slavenka Drakulić. Firstly the understanding of corporeity through time and history is addressed as well as the importance of skin and touch both from a biological and philosophical standpoint. The work then moves on to discussing the notion of the body as a cultural construct, presented through the lens of feminist theory which views the body as a space of imprinting patriarchal ideology. Sociocultural, historical and political circumstances therefore affect our perception of the body. The postmodern notion of the body, seen as a container of multiple identities, leads us into literature which deals with the body and corporeity as common motives in women's writing as well as highlighting the problem of text corporeity. The central point of this thesis are the literary analyses of Drakulić's novels Hologrami straha, Mramorna koža, Božanska glad, Kao da me nema, Frida ili o boli and Optužena. The bodies found within these novels bear witness to how they can easily be destroyed, either by disease, love or through the influence of others.
