The role and importance of literacy has changed through centuries. In the 21st century literacy gains a new dimension, under the influence of the development of information and communication technologies. In the modern society computer science literacy is no longer the need of those who acquire new knowledge, but it starts being important in the working environment, family and society in general. The basis for the development of modern society is computer science literacy of its individuals, and the necessary prerequisite of information literacy is computer science literacy. Information literacy represents understanding the need for information and having knowledgeabout finding and using information to solve problems and make decisions. This thesis is thematically divided into two parts: the theoretic and empirical part. The first one tackles the ICT's influence on the learning process in primary school, e-learning and finally the instructional design models in the e-learning system and application in Moodle system. The empirical part provides a detailed research which has been conducted in two third class of a primary school. The results showed that students love this kind of work, and that they like the role of the teacher in this system.
