Movement, with a positive emotional environment, from earliest childhood and troughout life plays a very important role in creating the network of nerve cells that is the fundamental basis of learning. Free movement is necessary to develop the skills necessary for the proper functioning of the brain as it has a fundamental impact on brain development, thinking and cognition. Although the fact that a child weakens to his motor skills during the kindergarten period does not diminish the development of all other areas, it is just opposite. If the child's need to move is met at the same time, others aspects of the child's overall development are met. Therefore, it can be said that physical activity is crucial for the overall psychophysical development of a child. The goal of an integrated sports program is not only on the development of motor abilities and skills of children. This program also aims to develop children's awareness of the importance and impact of physical exercise on their lives and health (Ružić, Marincel, Runjić, 2006). The paper presents reasearch that shows the positive impact of special sports programs within preschool institutions. Children who attend these programs consistently show better developed motor skills, as well as motor knowledge. Also, they have significantly more results on all measures of readiness for school, they are better in the area of school success that show greater involvement in outstanding sports astivities. Based on all the presentes results, it can be concluded with certainty that the impact on physical exercise at the earliest age is really significant, and greatly contributes to the overall development of the child.
