Information communication technology uses computers to collect, process, store, protect and transmit information. In recent years, technology has developed rapidly in various areas of human activity. Technology affects the nature of knowledge itself. It determines what knowledge is, how knowledge is produced, how people participate in the production of knowledge, and how valuable academic knowledge is. There is a growing realization that legitimate knowledge must be computerized. It is increasingly created, processed, manipulated and stored through technology. With this research, we wanted to determine how students of the University of Split use technology in education, and to examine their attitudes about the use of technology. 160 participants, 63 male students and 97 female students between the ages of 18 and 34, took part in the research. The most represented are students studying in the field of social sciences, and the largest number of students attend undergraduate studies. The majority of students agree with the view that the technology used in education has a great influence on the quality of learning, and it was determined that there is no statistically significant difference. The majority of students agree with the statement and believe that technology encourages their engagement. The participants also estimate that they know how to master new technology, and half of the respondents do not know whether they agree with the statement that university professors should master new technology better
