Continuous social changes have resulted in an increasing frequency of divorce. Most of divorced spouses have children and it is often the case of pre-school children, which means that the changes have affected children too. When marriage divorce occurs, children experience many changes that they have to face. In order to deal with the changes more successfully, they need help from all the people around them. Preschool children spend large part of their day in the kindergarten, which causes the educators to become a great support and assistance for children in their adaption to divorce. Also, the kindergarten becomes a stable and safe place where they do not have to experience changes and where they are supposed to feel safe and loved. But, the support of the educators largely depends on their attitudes about how divorce can affect children, because attitudes determine person's behavior towards someone. For this reason, in the empirical part of this paper, attitudes of educators towards children of divorced parents, were questioned. It is also questioned how their attitude is going to change with their age and experience. The results of this research have shown that educators, regardless of age and experience believe that divorce does not always have a negative impact on children. Results like this are desirable and are a reflection of changes in educational institutions, where the best interests of the children are emphasized more than ever.
