Attitudes of students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split towards children with behavioral problems and the level of stigmatization of such behaviors among future teachers were examined, considering their individual charascteristic, such as: gender, age, year of study, field of study, their experiences with behavioral problems and their own involvement in risky behaviors. The research was conducted electronically on a sample of 102 respondents. The survey questionnaire used for the purposes of the research is composed of several different scales. The research did not confirm the connection between previous experiences of victimization and personal experiences with risky behaviors with attitudes towards children with behavioral problems. Although, there is a connection between personal experiences with risky behaviors and attitudes towards such behaviors. Students who have had more intense personal experiences with risky behaviors, feel that behaviors, such as drinking alcohol regularly, smoking cigarettes and marijuana, small theft and physical conflict, are not so wrong. The results show that men and older respondents are slightly less tolerant and more likely to stigmatize such children, than women and younger respondents. However, differences in attitudes among students considering age and gender are not statistically significant, so that hypothesis can be discard. The results of the research confirmed the hypothesis that students of Pedagogy, Preschool Education and Teacher Education show more tolerance towards children with behavioral problems and less stigmatize those children, than students of other study fields.
