This paper explores ethical dilemmas, specifically in the context of philosophy with children. It examines how children can engage in ethical thinking, challenging the traditional view that complex moral debates are beyond their abilities. The work was written under the influence of philosophers Matthew Lipman and John Dewey, who claim that children are capable of participating in meaningful philosophical discussions that promote their moral and intellectual growth. Through the chapters, key topics such as ethical and moral dilemmas, philosophy for children (P4C), the role of imagination and education are addressed. The analysis emphasizes how children, through guided philosophical research, can deal with ethical dilemmas. Imagination is presented as a key tool for children in understanding and exploring different ethical perspectives, allowing them to imagine different outcomes of their decisions. This work promotes the inclusion of philosophical discussions in schools, encouraging moral development and democratic dialogue. It advocates for the integration of philosophy in the education of children, emphasizing that children are capable of dealing with ethical dilemmas, which can significantly contribute to their personal and intellectual development.
