Philosophy
Abstract
Filozofija za djecu javlja se 70-ih godina prošlog stoljeća kao obrazovni pokret koji će kod djece njegovati razvoj kritičkog mišljenja i samostalnog razmišljanja. Filozofija Johna Deweya i Lava Vygotskog ,kao pionira ove metode, poslužila je kao početna točka daljnjeg razmatranja filozofije u pedagoškom smislu te je potakla brojne filozofe poput Matthewa Lipmana, Oscara Brenefiera, Jacquesa Levinea i drugih, na vlastite ideje i načine na koji se filozofija za djecu može uvrstiti u školski kurikulum. Uz brojna druga pomagala, uloga priče ili novele u takvom pristupu, pokazala se kao uspješan način komuniciranja željenih filozofskih ideja i pojmova djeci. Upotreba teksta kao medija u nastavi filozofije s djecom, pokazala se odličnim inicijatorom dijaloga kroz koji djeca razvijaju sposobnosti koje su u stanju kasnije, u praktičnom smislu, upotrijebiti u svakodnevnom životu.
Abstract (english)
Philosophy for children emerged during the 1970s as an educational movement that would nurture the development of critical thinking and independent thinking in children. The philosophy of John Dewey and Leo Vygotsky, as pioneers of this method, served as a starting point for further consideration of philosophy in a pedagogical sense and encouraged many philosophers such as Matthew Lipman, Oscar Brenefier, Jacques Levine and others, to give their own ideas and ways philosophy for children can be included in the school curriculum. Along with a number of other tools, the role of a story or novel in such an approach has proven to be a successful way of communicating desired philosophical ideas and concepts to children. The use of text as a medium in teachings of philosophy with children has proven to be an excellent initiator of dialogue through which children develop abilities that they are later able to use in everyday life.
