Abstract
Slobodno vrijeme može se smatrati temeljnim instrumentom koji je omogućio razvoj kultura i tradicija u svijetu. Budući da tijekom njega pojedinac najviše pokazuje svoje želje, interese, stavove i aspiracije, može biti dobra polazišna točka za praćenje ponašanja s ciljem otkrivanja određenih anomalija. Glavni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati kako način provođenja slobodnog vremena utječe na razvoj problema u ponašanju mladih. Istraživanje je provedeno među gimnazijama te strukovnim i umjetničkim školama u gradu Zadru i talijanskom gradu Salernu te je njime obuhvaćeno ukupno 204 učenika. Rezultati pokazuju da ispitanici najviše vole svoje slobodno vrijeme provoditi s prijateljima i to kroz aktivnosti zabave i korištenje medijima. Isto tako, rizična ponašanja podjednako su zastupljena među mladima u Republici Hrvatskoj i Republici Italiji, a najviše se ističe ispijanje alkoholnih pića, pušenje cigareta, pridruživanje prijateljima kada se radi nešto što nije dozvoljeno, izostajanje s nastave te laganje roditeljima o tome s kime i gdje provode vrijeme. Time se potvrdila ključna hipoteza prema kojoj postoji povezanost načina provođenja slobodnog vremena s razvojem problema u ponašanju i to na način da oni koji svoje vrijeme više provode koristeći se medijima ili provodeći vrijeme u kafićima pokazuju veću sklonost u manifestiranju spomenutih blažih oblika devijacija.
Abstract (english)
Leisure time can be considered a fundamental instrument that has enabled the development of cultures and traditions in the world. Since it is during this time that the individual shows his desires, interests, attitudes and aspirations the most, it can be a good starting point for monitoring behavior in order to detect certain anomalies. The main aim of this study was to examine how the way of spending leisure time influences the development of behavioral problems in youth. The research was conducted among gymnasiums, vocational and art high schools in the city of Zadar and the Italian city of Salerno and it included a total of 204 students. The results show that the respondents preferred to spend their leisure time with friends through entertainment activities and the use of the media. Furthermore, risky behaviors are equally prevalent among young people in Croatia and Italy. The most prominent ones are drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, joining friends when doing something that is not allowed, skipping classes and lying to parents about where and who they spend their time with. This confirms the key hypothesis that there is a clear connection between the way of spending leisure time with the development of behavioral problems in such a way that those who spend more time using the media or spending time in cafes show a greater tendency to manifest mentioned forms of behavioral deviations.
