A child is a researcher from birth and the environment is the main source of stimulation for him. Through self-initiated and guided research, the child, with the support of educators, becomes scientifically literate and develops significant lifelong competence - Mathematical competence and basic competence in science. A fundamental prerequisite for the complete development of a child, his learning and the development of competences is a stimulating environment, which in the context of a kindergarten is represented by the living room together with the associated outdoor space. The stimulating environment is structured according to the child, guided by his interests, and various incentives are distributed and offered to the children by the educators in the activity centers inside the living room. Therefore, the educator plays the role of partner, teammate, documenter, space organizer and provider. An inexhaustible source of children's and early research is nature and concepts from the natural sciences, such as water, sound, light and shadow, magnetism and electricity, so the encounter and experience with these phenomena positively influence the integrated development of children and the acquisition of fundamental knowledge about the world around them - with adequate support from educators.
