Abstract
Glavni cilj ovoga rada bio je analizirati osobitosti rada nekih slobodnih škola i pedagoških koncepcija iskazanih kroz djelo i rad Paula Freirea, Ivana Illicha i Alexandera Neilla koji su danas priznati kao kritičari konvencionalnog sustava odgoja i obrazovanja. Iako često osporavani, oni su svojim radom i objavljenim djelima potaknuli ljude na promišljanje o funkciji, ulozi i kvaliteti konvencionalnog sustava odgoja i obrazovanja. Njihov je značaj na području školske i reformne pedagogije neupitan, a njihova djela i misli su i nekoliko desetljeća nakon objavljivanja prvih izdanja knjiga još uvijek aktualna i intrigantna.
Abstract (english)
Freedom, and thus democracy, is beginning thought on free schools. The biggest proponents of free schools are the authors of the twentieth century Paulo Freire, Ivan Illich, Alexander Neill. Anyway, those same thoughts, principles and tenets we can also find in the minds of philosophers of the sixth century BC. Problems of opening free schools are primarily questions of administrative nature. It is visible that the administration is affecting everyone, and furthermore it affects the development of every child, his personality and his beliefs. Proponents of free schools believe that all employees of free school should help the child to develop its own identity. In this educational process we can see a good coexistence of all members of the community.
