Abstract
Kako bi se dobio uvid u karakteristike i razvoj dvoje djece s dvojnom posebnosti, u ovom radu prikazane su dvije studije slučaja provedene u jednoj predškolskoj ustanovi. Studije slučaja uključuju sustavno promatranje djece u skupini, intervjue s roditeljima i članovima stručnog tima, ali i uvid u kontekst razvoja darovitosti u okviru jedne vrtićke ustanove. Problem istraživanja je implementacija procedure prepoznavanja i identifikacije te podrške darovitoj djeci predškolske dobi, a s ciljem osiguravanja odgojno-obrazovnog okruženja koje omogućava cjeloviti razvoj djece s dvojnom posebnosti. Glavni doprinos ovog istraživanja je u proširenju teme o darovitosti i disharmoničnom razvoju. Stručnjaci koji rade s djecom nerijetko primjećuju nefleksibilnost sustava i traže dodatna znanja i načine kako bi unaprijedili svoje djelovanje neovisno o mogućnostima ustanove u kojoj rade. Na odgojiteljima i drugim stručnjacima koji izravno rade velika je odgovornost temeljena na razumijevanju da svako dijete zaslužuje odgovarajući pristup i program shodno svojim potrebama.
Abstract (english)
In order to gain insight into the characteristics and development of two children with double exceptionality, this paper presents two case studies conducted in one preschool institution. The case studies include systematic observation of children in the group and interviews with parents and counseling team members. They also provide an insight into the context of giftedness development within a kindergarten institution. The research problem is implementing the recognition, identification, and support of gifted preschool children to provide an educational environment that enables the complete development of children with dual exceptionality. The main contribution of this research is in expanding the topic of giftedness and disharmonious development. Professionals working with children often notice the system's inflexibility and seek additional knowledge and ways to improve their performance regardless of the capabilities of the institution in which they work. Therefore, it is a great responsibility for educators and other professionals to understand that every child deserves an educational approach and program according to their needs.
