Abstract
In questo lavoro si definisce il termine del focus e della focalizzazione, si presentano gli strumenti linguistici della focalizzazione e la loro classificazione in segnali prosodici, segnali sintattici e segnali lessicali. Al livello prosodico la posizione della prominenza accentuale è marcata se non è sull’ultima parola dell’enunciato. Al livello sintattico vengono presentati l’ordine delle parole, la dislocazione a sinistra, la dislocazione a destra e la scissione delle frasi. Al livello lessicale si osservano diversi tipi di marcatori lessicali, si tratta perlopiù di avverbi o congiunzioni focalizzatori. Infine, si definiscono e classificano i focalizzatori, una sottoclasse autonoma allʼinterno della più ampia classe degli avverbi. In seguito, si analizza la parola appunto e le sue funzioni di natura sintattica, testuale e pragmatica. Viene consultato il corpus itWaC per estrarre gli esempi che la contengono. Si analizzano le diverse funzioni di appunto (avverbio, nome, interiezione, connettivo e focalizzatore) e la sua posizione nella frase. Si conclude che appunto si trova più spesso in funzione dell’avverbio focalizzatore o piu precisamente di identificatore enfatico.
Abstract (english)
In this work the term of focus and focalisation are defined, the linguistic tools of focalisation and their classification into prosodic markers, syntactic markers and lexical markers are presented. At the prosodic level, if it is not on the last word of the sentence the position of the accentual prominence is marked. At the syntactic level sevral phenomena, such as, word order, left dislocation, wright dislocation and cleft sentences are presented. At the lexical level, different types of lexical markers are observed, mostly adverbs or focusing conjunctions. Finally, focalisators are defined and classified, an autonomous subclass within the broader class of adverbs. Then, the word appunto and its syntactic, textual and pragmatic functions are analyzed. The itWaC corpus is consulted to extract the examples that contain it. The different functions of appunto are analyzed (adverb, noun, interjection, connective and focalisator) and its position in the sentence. It is concluded that it is found more often in function of the focusing adverb or more precisely of emphatic identifier.
