Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je ispitati razinu samoprocijenjenih socijalno-emocionalnih kompetencija odgojitelja djece rane i predškolske dobi primjenom upitnika Osobna procjena i refleksija – kompetencije socijalno-emocionalnog učenja za voditelje škola, osoblje i odrasle (CASEL, 2017) te ispitati njihovu povezanost s duljinom radnog iskustva, razinom obrazovanja, dobi ispitanika te međusobnu povezanost različitih komponentni socijalno-emocionalnih kompetencija. Ispitanici su bili odgojitelji iz ustanova za rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje (N=234). Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na visoku razinu samoprocijenjenih socijalno-emocionalnih kompetencija ispitanika. Dob se nije pokazala povezanom s niti jednom skupinom socijalno-emocionalnih kompetencija, a utvrđena je značajna povezanost između duljine radnog iskustva i samoprocjene odgovornog donošenja odluka. Razina obrazovanja je bila povezana jedino s rezultatima na podskali upravljanja sobom dok su rezultati na podskalama socioemocionalnih kompetencija svi međusobno povezani.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis was to examine the level of self-assessed social-emotional competencies of educators of early and preschool children using the questionnaire Personal Assessment and Reflection - SEL Competencies for School Leaders, Staff, and Adults (CASEL, 2017) and examine their relationship to work length time of experience, level of education, obtained examinees and the interconnectedness of different component socio-emotional competencies. The respondents were educators from the institutions for early and preschool education (N = 234). The obtained results indicate a high level of self-assessed social-emotional competencies of the respondents. Age did not prove to be related to any group of social-emotional competencies, and a significant correlation was found between the length of work experience and self-assessment of responsible decision-making. The level of education was related only to the results on the self-management subscale while the results on the social-emotional competencies subscales were all interrelated.
