Abstract
Friedrich Fröbel i Antonija Kassowitz Cvijić, dvoje su važnih pedagoga 18. i 19. stoljeća. Fröbel je zaslužan za prvi vrtić, otvoren 1837. godine. Zvao se „Ustanova za razvoj stvaralačkih motiva djelatnosti kod djece i mladih“. Ovaj naziv se Fröbelu činio neprihvatljivim te mijenja naziv u dječji vrtić kao što je to ostalo i do današnjih dana. Ostavio je neizbrisiv trag na pedagogiju. Postojali su i mnogi pedagozi kojima su se svidjele Fröbelove ideje pa su se nastavili na njegova razmšljanja. Antonija Kassowitz Cvijić, poznata hrvatska pedagoginja, nastavila se na njegov rad te je napisala djelo „Rukovođ za zabavište“. Djelo je napisala na nagovor Hrvatsko književno-pedagoškog zbora. U njemu se jasno vidi koliko je cijenila Fröbela jer se cijelo njeno djelo, najviše druga cjelina bazira na njegovoj koncepciji. Ovim radom, prikazani su životi ovih dvoje pedagoga te njihov rad koji je svakako obogatio pedagogiju sve do današnjeg dana.
Abstract (english)
Friedrich Fröbel and Antonija Kassowitz Cvijić are two important pedagogues of the 18th and 19th centuries. Fröbel is responsible for the first kindergarten, opened in 1837. It was called the "Institute for the Development of Creative Motives in Children and Youth". This name seemed unacceptable to Fröbel, and he changed the name to kindergarten, as it has remained to this day. There were many pedagogues who liked Fröbel's ideas, so they continued with his thoughts. Antonija Kassowitz Cvijić, a well-known Croatian pedagogue, continued his work and wrote the work "Rukovođ za zabavište". She wrote the work at the urging of the Croatian Literary and Pedagogical Choir. It clearly shows how much she valued Fröbel because her entire work, at most the second part, is based on his conception. This work presents the lives of these two pedagogues and their work, which certainly enriched pedagogy until today.
