Abstract
Cilj ovoga diplomskoga rada bio je istražiti glazbene preferencije učenika prvih, četvrtih i osmih razreda prema suvremenoj umjetničkoj glazbi 20. stoljeća. Istraživanje je provedeno u osnovnoj školi, a sudjelovalo je ukupno 123 učenika. Rad čine tri dijela. Prvi dio rada odnosi se na suvremenu umjetničku glazbu 20. stoljeća i njen doprinos glazbenom stvaralaštvu. Navode se i opisuju osnovni elementi glazbe 20. stoljeća koji su se prvi put pojavili u glazbi. Odmak od tradicionalnog ili spoj... More tradicionalnih i modernih elemenata suvremene umjetničke glazbe prikazani su i kroz stilove tog razdoblja. U drugom dijelu rada govori se općenito o glazbenim preferencijama. Kako nastaju i koje su preferencije ovisno o spolu, dobi i drugim značajkama. U tom dijelu rada, izneseni su rezultati različitih provedenih istraživanja. Slijedi empirijski dio rada. Postavljene su četiri hipoteze koje je trebalo odbaciti ili prihvatiti te objasniti. Svaki ispitanik je na anketnom listiću određivao stupanj sviđanja pojedinog glazbenog primjera, nakon slušanja istoga. Rezultati istraživanja potvrdili su hipotezu kako spol ne utječe na glazbene preferencije prema suvremenoj umjetničkoj glazbi. Hipoteza kako dob utječe na glazbene preferencije također je potvrđena. Rezultati su pokazali kako učenici prvih razreda najviše preferiraju glazbu koju su slušali. Slijede učenici četvrtih, a zatim osmih razreda. Sljedećom hipotezom pretpostavljeno je kako će učenici više preferirati vokalno-instrumentalnu glazbu u odnosu na instrumentalnu. Rezultati su ukazuju na to da učenici ipak više preferiraju instrumentalnu glazbu pa je time odbačena postavljena hipoteza. Posljednja hipoteza u kojoj se pretpostavlja da postoji razlika u sviđanju suvremene umjetničke glazbe ovisno o stilovima je potvrđena. Less
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to gain insight into musical preferences of students of the first, fourth and eighth grades, towards contemporary art music of the 20th century. The research was conducted in elementary school, and was participated by a total of 123 students. The work consists of three parts. The first part deals with contemporary art music of the 20th century and its contribution to musical creativity. The basic music elements of the 20th century that first appeared in this... More period are listed and described. Departure from the traditional or compound of traditional and modern elements of contemporary art music are presented through musical styles. The second part deals with the musical preferences in general - how are they formed and which of them are based on gender, age and other characteristics. In this part of the work we present the results of conducted studies. Four hypotheses were set by this research. Each participant had to determing the degree of liking a particular musical exampl, after listening. The research results confirm the hypothesis that gender does not affect the musical preferences to contemporary art music. The hypothesis that age affects the musical preferences is also confirmed. The results showed that the first grade students reported higher liking of contemporary art music of the 20th century, followed by students of fourth and finally eighth grade. The third hypothesis assumed that students will report higher liking of vocal-instrumental music than instrumental music. The results showed that students prefer more instrumental music and therefore the hypothesis is rejected. Last hypothesis in which we assumed that there is a difference in preferences of contemporary art music depending on different styles is confirmed. Less
