Abstract
Duga i bogata povijest kontakta između dvaju naroda, hrvatskog i talijanskog, dovela je do brojnih jezičnih interferencija. Bilingvizam u prošlosti Dalmacije kao rezultat ima mnoge talijanizme koji su prodrijeli u dijalektalne govore. Ovi talijanizmi su prisutni i u čakavskim govorima otoka Brača, a prezentirani su i proučavani u ovom radu. Posuđenice talijanskog podrijetla morfološki su analizirane i podijeljene prema vrstama riječi (imenice, glagoli, pridjevi, prilozi) i prema semantičkim poljima kojima pripadaju. Najzastupljenija vrsta riječi su imenice, koje u većini slučajeva, teže potpunoj prilagodbi hrvatskom jezičnom sustavu.
Abstract (italian)
La lunga e ricca storia del contatto tra due popoli, croato e italiano, ha portato alle numerose interferenze linguistiche. Il bilinguismo nella Dalmazia di una volta ha come risultato molti italianismi penetrati nelle parlate dialettali. Questi italianismi sono presenti anche nelle parlate ciacave dellʼisola di Brač e sono stati studiati nella presente tesi. I prestiti di origine italiana qui individuati sono divisi in categorie grammaticali (nome, verbo, aggettivo, avverbo) e in campi semantici e poi analizzati dal punto di vista morfologico. La categoria grammaticale più numerosa risulta essere quella dei nomi, i quali, nella maggioranza dei casi, tendono a integrarsi completamente nel sistema linguistico croato.
