Abstract
Igra ima brojne utjecaje na cjelovit djetetov razvoj. Djetetova prirodna potreba za igrom i radosti koju ona pruža otvara raznovrsne mogućnosti za pružanje poticaja i odgojno-obrazovnog djelovanja. Očuvanje tradicije, tradicijskih igara i običaja iste implicira njegovanje kulturne baštine, nasljedstva i ostavštine. Tradicijske igre imaju svoja pravila, dinamične su i pokretne, potiču prosocijalna ponašanja i naglašavaju zajedništvo, međusobno poštovanje i prijateljstvo. Širok utjecaj tradicijskih igara na motorički razvoj djece važno je istaknuti jer je življenje u modernom društvu ograničilo vrijeme i kvalitetu boravka te igre na otvorenom. Održavanje tradicijskih igara prisutnima u modernom djetinjstvu, omogućava širenje spoznaja o kulturnoj baštini i usvajanju vrijednosti i norma. Istražene su , prepoznate i istaknute dobrobiti i svrsihodnost primjene tradicijske igre u odgojno-obrazovnom procesu.
Abstract (english)
Play has numerous influences on a child's overall development. A child's natural need for play and the joy it provides opens up various possibilities for providing incentives and educational activities. The preservation of tradition, traditional games and customs implies the nurturing of cultural heritage, inheritance and legacy. Traditional games have their own rules, are dynamic and mobile, encourage prosocial behavior and emphasize togetherness, mutual respect and friendship. The wide influence of traditional games on the motor development of children is important to emphasize, because living in a modern society has limited the time and quality of outdoor play. Keeping traditional games present in modern childhood enables the spread of knowledge about cultural heritage and the adoption of values and norms. The benefits and expediency of using traditional games in the educational process have been researched, recognized and highlighted.
